15th of May meeting

• Deliberation N.º1/GC/2009 –  approves the proposed budget allocation for the year two thousand and nine presented by the Rectory of the University of Madeira.
  

• Deliberation N.º2/GC/2009 – approves the Services Organization submitted by the Rectory of the University of Madeira.

• Deliberation N.º3/GC/2009 – approves the proposal of the names of the two Presidents of both College of the Polytechnic and the University of the Knowledge Society and its programs, presented by the Rectory of the University of Madeira and accepted by the President of the General Council.

• Deliberation N.º4/GC/2009 – approves to mandate of the Rector of the University of Madeira to send the MSTHE the proposition of students vacancies for the academic year of 2009/2010.

• Deliberation N.º5/GC/2009 – approves the proposed procedure for the establishment of Innovation Institutes presented by the Rectory of the University of Madeira.

• Deliberation N.º6/GC/2009 – approves the pre-proposal to create the Madeira Interactive Technologies Institute presented by the Rectory of the University of Madeira and mandates the Rector to lead the negotiations and prepare the documents to be submitted to the General Council.

• Deliberation N.º7/GC/2009 –  approves the proposal for supervising the students elections the Vice-Rector Ms.Sandra Mendonça PhD, submitted by the Rectory of the University of Madeira.

• Deliberation N.º8/GC/2009 – approves, considering the provisions of Article eighty-one of the Statutes of the University of Madeira, mandating the Rector to:                                                                                                 
                                               * Approve the Distribution of Educational Services;
                                               * Develop the Academic Calendar, two thousand and nine/two thousand and ten;
                                               * Create the Student's Office;
                                               * Pursue the process of creating a Master in Clinical Psychology;
                                               * Continue the process of evaluating the non-teaching staff under the new SIADAP legislation number sixty-six Bof
                                                  28th December two thousand and seven.

• Deliberation N.º9/GC/2009 – approves the proposal to establish permanent committees of the General Council with specific areas of work, each led by an external member of the General Council, proposed by its President.

23rd of July meeting

• Deliberation N.º10/GC/2009  –  approves the proposal of setting the annual value of the tuition fees of the first cycle of studies, presented by the Rectory of the University of Madeira.

•  Deliberation N.º11/GC/2009 – approves the ratification of the names and programs of the Presidents of University and  Polytechnic Colleges of the Knowledge Society, presented by the Rectory of the University of Madeira.

• Deliberation N.º12/GC/2009 – approves the proposition for the Statutes of the Madeira Interactive Technologies Institute Association, presented by the Rectory of the University of Madeira.

• Deliberation N.º13/GC/2009 – approves the proposed composition of the Working Committees of the General Council of UMa, presented by its President.

• Deliberation N.º14/GC/2009  –  confirms the consistent line in the opinion of Mr.Guilherme Silva on the mandates of the members of General Council, submitted by the Rectory of the University of Madeira.

• Deliberation N.º15/GC/2009  –  approves the amendment of the terms of participation of Carnegie Mellon University to create the M-ITI (Madeira Interactive Technologies Institute) as shown by the Rectory of the University of Madeira.

• Deliberation N.º16/GC/2009 – approves the Regulation of the Student's Ombudsman of University of Madeira, presented by its Rectory.

• Deliberation N.º17/GC/2009 – approves the proposed list of Masters whose management is assigned to the University Education College of the Knowledge Society, submitted by the Rectory of the University of Madeira.

• Deliberation N.º18/GC/2009 – approves the nomination of Mr.Joseph Martin Smith Barroso for the Surveillence Authority of the University of Madeira and of Mr.João Paulo Cunha Ferreira Torres for Substitute Surveillence Authority, submitted by the Rectory of the University of Madeira.

• Deliberation N.º19/GC/2009 – approves the General Rules of Budget Distribution for two thousand and ten, proposed by the Rectory of the University of Madeira.

• Deliberation N.º20/GC/2009 – approves the Distribution Rules of ETI'S and admission, proposed by the Rectory of the University of Madeira.

• Deliberation N.º21/GC/2009 – approves the guidelines for Faculty Performance Assessment, proposed by the Rectory of the University of Madeira.

• Deliberation N.º22/GC/2009 – approves the guidelines for the evaluation of the non teaching staff, proposed by the Rectory of the University of Madeira.
